Ambiente's Leeds restaurant is situated in the historic Calls Landing building in the centre of the city. This Grade II listed building, formerly a warehouse, has retained its bare brick walls, stripped floors and exposed steelwork resulting in a casual & unpretentious environment perfectly suited to a relaxed dining experience.
The theatre style kitchen in the middle of the restaurant allows diners to witness our chefs in action as they prepare & plate up your food, and our bar area is ideal for those just wanting a glass of sherry or wine with a light bite. If the weather is favourable, our south facing balcony overlooking the River Aire must be one of the most attractive places in the city to spend an hour or so.
Our menu presents a wide selection of tapas which sees old favourites like Patatas Bravas and Calamares alongside some more unusual dishes that explore our interest in fusion, Albondigas (meatballs) served in a creamy lemongrass & chilli sauce, or our Morcilla (blackpudding) scotch eggs being two such examples. Whatever your likes or dislikes and regardless of how adventurous you are, we are confident that we can guarantee a really memorable dining experience at Ambiente.
Our range of mostly Spanish wines is extensive and includes organic & vegan options. Our selection criteria for these wines is always based on quality, so you can be confident that whatever your taste one of our wines will fit the bill.
